An F1 mapping family was established by interspecies hybridization between Argopecten irradians irradians x Argopecten purpuratus. Twelve samples were selected from this family, which include two parents and ten progenies. Two sets of 2b-RAD libraries were constructed for these samples independently and sequenced based on Illumina HiSeq2000 platform, which serve as technical replications for genotyping validation.
