The aim of the project is the characterization of the oral microbiome composition within different oral niches in periodontal health. Therefore, seven different oral loci: plaque (P), gingival crevicular fluid (GCF), saliva (S), tongue (T), hard palate (HP), cheek (C) and sublingual area (U) of 20 young healthy adults were analyzed by sequencing of the V1-V3 region of the 16S rRNA gene.
