Processed ship-based Navigation Data (version 1) from the Central America Subduction Zone acquired during the New Horizon expedition TC2NH (2008)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based Navigation system during New Horizon expedition TC2NH conducted in 2008 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Patricia Gregg). These data files are of Shapefile format and include Navigation data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Seismic measurements of magma flux, arc composition, and lower-plate serpentinization in the Central American subduction factory and TICO-CAVA, 2008 Leg 2, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE04-05654.

本数据集依托2008年TC2NH航次（"新视野"号（New Horizon）科考航次）的船载导航系统采集所得，本航次首席科学家为Patricia Gregg博士。该数据集文件采用形状文件（Shapefile）格式，包含导航数据，且均在数据采集完成后经过处理。本次采集的数据隶属于2008年第2航次的两项科研项目：中美洲俯冲工厂（subduction factory）内岩浆通量、岛弧组分及下盘蛇纹石化的地震测量，以及TICO-CAVA项目。本研究获得美国国家科学基金会（National Science Foundation, NSF）资助项目OCE04-05654的经费支持。
