Apparent Temporal Mismatch between Aquatic Productivity and the Occurrence of Conservation-Priority Ducks: A Case Study from Shahe Reservoir, Beijing, China.

This dataset supports the study titled “Apparent Temporal Mismatch between Aquatic Productivity and the Occurrence of Conservation-Priority Ducks: A Case Study from Shahe Reservoir, Beijing, China.” It includes seasonal climate variables, PCA results for the Hydroclimatic Seasonality Index, duck occurrence data from 2019 to 2024, and plot-level seasonal data on submerged aquatic vegetation, aquatic invertebrates, and gastropods. The data show that focal duck occurrence was highest during spring migration, while aquatic productivity and prey resources mainly peaked later in summer and autumn. These files support the statistical analyses and help interpret seasonal habitat and prey availability in relation to duck migration timing.本数据集支持题为《水生生产力与优先保护鸭类出现的表观时间错配：以中国北京沙河水库为例》的研究。该数据集包含季节气候变量、水文气候季节指数（Hydroclimatic Seasonality Index）的主成分分析（Principal Component Analysis，PCA）结果、2019年至2024年的鸭类出现观测数据，以及样地尺度下沉水水生植被、水生无脊椎动物和腹足类（gastropods）的季节调查数据。分析结果显示，目标鸭类的出现峰值集中于春季迁徙期，而水生生产力与猎物资源的峰值则主要出现在夏末与秋季。本数据集可为相关统计分析提供支撑，助力阐释与鸭类迁徙时序相关的季节生境与猎物可获得性变化。
