Three-biofilter system using gravitional flow of wastewater in conventional WWTP is installed in the WWTP. Our goal was to confirm its N2O removals without using energy. As N2O is emitted in a low concentration in oxic gas steams, microbial analysis in biofilters was executed to study microbial community in the system.
