O Uso dos Telefones Celulares pelos Jovens da Geração Digital: Produzindo Subjetividades por Meio dos Objetos de Consumo: um Estudo Exploratório no Município de Madre de Deus - Bahia

The mobile phones have changed the way people interact, changing social relationships, family, professional and educational activities. So, in this article we aim to understand how young people of Digital Generation construct their subjectivity through handsets, taken in context of media consumption in society. Therefore, we adopted as the theoretical exploratory research, asking for a group of young, metropolitan region of Salvador - Bahia, on the phones, consumer objects, assume a privileged place in their lives, and seek to understand what meanings are placed in discourse and in their life narratives.
