Scenario Datasets to support the paper "Multi-Region Modeling and Integration In Expansion Planning Using OSeMOSYS"

The dataset contains input data files of the Brazilian case study described in the paper. Scenario files are divided into separate directories. The dataset contains the input data and respective files needed to run OSeMOSYS using the conventional and the modified optimization models. This dataset DOES NOT contain simulation results of the study "Multi-Region Modeling and Integration In Expansion Planning Using OSeMOSYS", due to substantial sizes of output files from scenario simulation. This study evaluates expansion planning models under different temporal, spatial and technological resolutions. An additional toy problem modeling an energy system of a hypothetical country 'Brazago', has also been added to the repository. It presents results for the simulation of the energy system using two OSeMOSYS formulations -- the original formulation, where inter-region trades are modeled as an net exchange of fuel; and the proposed formulation, which employs the methodology described in the article "Multi-Region Modeling and Integration In Expansion Planning Using OSeMOSYS".本数据集包含本文所述巴西案例研究的输入数据文件。场景文件存储于独立的目录中。本数据集包含采用常规及改进型优化模型运行OSeMOSYS所需的输入数据及相应文件。由于场景模拟生成的输出文件体量庞大，本数据集未包含研究"Multi-Region Modeling and Integration In Expansion Planning Using OSeMOSYS"的模拟结果。本研究针对不同时间、空间及技术分辨率下的扩展规划模型开展评估。
