Seismic Network Around Kangaroo Eyre Yorke

This deployment of 20 broadband seismometers is intended to fill a gap in seismic coverage in South Australia, along the south-eastern margin of the Galwer Craton. The aim is to better characterise the local seismicity, and to improve seismic imaging of the crust and upper mantle structure beneath this region. Seismometers are located throughout the eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Fleurieu Peninsula, and Kangaroo Island. Sensors used during this project include twelve Trillium Compact 120s and eight Trillium Compact Postholes 120s. For digitizers, the TerraSAWR and LPR-200 ANU seismic recorders were deployed. Data was sampled at 100Hz.

本次布设的20台宽频带地震仪，旨在填补澳大利亚东南部加尔韦克拉通（Galwer Craton）东南缘区域的地震观测覆盖空白。本项目的核心目标为精准刻画区域地震活动特征，并提升该区域下方地壳与上地幔结构的地震成像质量。地震仪的布设范围覆盖艾尔半岛东部、约克半岛、弗勒里厄半岛以及袋鼠岛。本项目使用的传感器包括12台Trillium Compact 120与8台Trillium Compact Postholes 120；数据采集环节采用了TerraSAWR与LPR-200 ANU地震记录仪。本次采集的数据采样率为100赫兹。
