My name is Bharath Kumar Sugumar, and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in electrical engineering at the University of Pavia, Italy, specializing in the resilience of microgrids within renewable energy and power systems. My research focuses on developing innovative standalone microgrids integrating batteries, solar panels, wind turbines, and diesel generators to ensure energy reliability in challenging environments. I have a strong background in renewable energy systems, decision support systems, and power system optimization. Additionally, I am a visiting researcher at Aalborg University, Denmark, collaborating on global energy resilience initiatives. I have teaching experience in renewable energy resources and power system simulation and have published research contributing to sustainable development and climate change solutions.
