Expression data from differentiated THP-1 (dTHP-1) cell line infected with influenza A virus (IAV) and treated with/without Itaconate

Analysis of gene expression indTHP-1 cells infected with influenza A virus or Mock and treated with Itaconic acid (IA), or Dimethyl itaconate (DI) to investigate the effects itaconate have on transcriptional response in dTHP-1 cells. We particularly looked at anti-inflammatory effects of itaconate in inflammation followed by Influenza A virus infection. THP1-1 cells were differentiated by phorbol 12-myristate-13-acetate. dTHP-1 cells were infected with influenza A viruses, or non-infected (Mock) for 12 hours. Infected dTHP-1 cells were pre-treated with itaconic acid, or dimethyl itaconate for 24 hours and then an additional 12 hours treatment along with IAV infection.
