THE IMPORTANCE OF STATE SUPPORT MECHANISMS IN ENSURING THE DEVELOPMENT OF SMALL BUSINESSES

this article analyzes the role and importance of state support mechanisms in ensuring the development of small businesses. The study examines the effectiveness of financial, tax, legal, and institutional support instruments aimed at developing small business entities. In particular, the impact of preferential lending, tax incentives, simplification of business registration procedures, government programs, subsidies, and consulting services on small business activities is analyzed. The article highlights the role of small businesses in the formation of gross domestic product, ensuring employment, promoting regional development, and improving the entrepreneurial environment within the framework of economic reforms implemented in Uzbekistan. Furthermore, based on the experience of developed countries, scientific and practical recommendations are developed to improve state support mechanisms for small businesses.
