本数据集(CRD)包含中国范围内97,435个水库的地理空间多边形及基础属性信息。数据集通过整合现有的全球大坝/水库产品(GRanD, GOODD, GeoDAR, FHReD)、国家基础地理信息数据库(1:250,000)、多源开放地图数据(如天地图、OpenStreetMap)以及多级政府统计年鉴(如《中国水力发电年鉴》)编制而成。 该数据集中的水库总最大水域淹没面积为50,085.21 km²,总估算库容约979.62 km³ (924.96–1060.59 km³)。数据不仅包含水库的空间位置和边界,还提供了详细的属性信息,包括水库名称、行政区划、最大水域面积、库容、河流等级、平均流量及水力停留时间等。CRD显著提升了对中国水库(特别是面积小于1 km²的中小型水库)的覆盖度,可为水资源管理、水文及养分通量估算、以及大坝对生态环境影响的评估提供数据支持。

This dataset (CRD) contains geospatial polygons and fundamental attribute information for 97,435 reservoirs across China. It was compiled by integrating existing global dam and reservoir datasets (GRanD, GOODD, GeoDAR, FHReD), the National Fundamental Geographic Information Database at a scale of 1:250,000, multi-source open map data (e.g., Tianditu, OpenStreetMap), and multi-level governmental statistical yearbooks such as the China Hydropower Yearbook. The total maximum submerged water area of all reservoirs in this dataset is 50,085.21 km², with an overall estimated storage capacity of approximately 979.62 km³ (924.96–1060.59 km³). In addition to the spatial locations and boundaries of the reservoirs, the dataset provides detailed attribute information including reservoir name, administrative division, maximum water area, storage capacity, river hierarchy, average flow rate, hydraulic retention time, and other relevant parameters. CRD substantially improves the coverage of reservoirs in China, especially small and medium-sized reservoirs with an area of less than 1 km², and can provide data support for water resources management, hydrological and nutrient flux estimation, and assessment of the ecological and environmental impacts of dams.
