GPlates files associated with the plate reconstruction shown in Figure 1 of van Hinsbergen et al., Nature Geoscience (2021). Mediterranean reconstruction is detailed in van Hinsbergen et al (Gondwana Research, 2020), India-Asia reconstruction is detailed in van Hinsbergen et al (Tectonics 2011, Tectonophysics, 2019) and Gaina et al (Tectonics, 2015). Reconstruction of Cretaceous subduction in Oman is based on van Hinsbergen et al. (EPSL, 2019). Plate boundaries were added in this paper.<br>
