This dataset represents the survival data of walleye pollock captured with an experimental trawl net near Kodiak Island, Alaska, and maintained in laboratory
tanks for 30-day observation. The experimental trawls were taken in March 2006, January 2007, and April 2007. The data are in spreadsheet format.
Additionally, the dataset includes source codes used to statistically evaluate the relationship between trawl-captured survival of walleye pollock and predictor variables
1) depth of capture, 2) density of catches, 3) size of individual pollock, 4) tagging. These datasets were archived as part of the North Pacific Research Board legacy project recovery effort undertaken by Axiom Data Science and NPRB in 2025. The goal of the recovery effort was to assess the NPRB-funded data projects from 2002 to 2014 and archive final data packages that were ready for publication to increase long-term accessibility and discoverability. Data packages were archived as is given limited funding and resources.
