Evaluation of training by Hcéres

In the world of higher education and research, Hcéres independently evaluates institutions, their groupings, their research units, their training and their doctoral training to enable them to progress. The evaluation campaigns follow a five-year cycle, to be compatible with the requirements of the State’s contractual policy, which has divided the establishments concerned into five geographical areas known as waves A, B, C, D and E (see https://www.hceres.fr/en/les-campagnes-devaluation). This dataset establishes the list of training courses evaluated, starting from the 2023-2024 evaluation campaign. This list is drawn up each year, prior to the evaluation campaign, on the basis of accreditation orders and as part of a dialogue between Hcéres and the institutions offering these training courses. The evaluation is a mandatory phase prior to the accreditation of a training, which is pronounced by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. The data relating to the evaluation of training courses are described as follows. 1/ Identification of the establishment offering the training by: - his name; - its IAU code (for registered administrative unit). 2/ Identification of the training by: - an internal identifier specific to Hcéres; - its accreditation number, for training courses that have them (doctoral training courses have their own number, which appears in a dedicated field); - the title of the training course; - the disciplinary area(s) to which the training belongs (these are the areas of accreditation for undergraduate and graduate training and the scientific areas for doctoral training, which are included in a separate field); - the type of course (BUT, DEUST, bachelor's degree, professional bachelor's degree, master's degree, doctoral training, etc.). 3/ The evaluation itself: - the wave of contracting and accreditation of the establishment (A, B, C, D or E); - the evaluation campaign concerned (e.g. 2023-2024); - the URL pointing to the evaluation report (the field remains empty until the report is made public).
