Fine root nutrient concentration in fertilised plots in the Central Amazon, 2018

Samples < 2mm diameter were bulked by plot and soil depth (0-10cm and 10-30cm) using root material collected in 4-time intervals, from November 2017 to August 2018. After dried, samples were ground using a knife and/ or ball mill for nutritional analysis. Micronutrients, phosphorus and cations were extracted by nitroperchloric digestion. Cations and micronutrients were determined by atomic absorption spectrophotometry, whilst phosphorus was determined by spectrophotometry. Carbon and nitrogen concentrations were determined using an automatic C and N analyser.

本数据集以2017年11月至2018年8月期间4个时间间隔采集的根系样品为材料，将直径小于2mm的样品按样地及土层深度（0~10cm、10~30cm）进行混匀。样品经风干后，采用刀式粉碎机和/或球磨机进行研磨以开展养分分析。微量元素、磷及阳离子采用高氯酸消解法提取。其中，阳离子与微量元素通过原子吸收分光光度法测定，磷则采用分光光度法定量。碳、氮浓度通过全自动碳氮分析仪测定。
