Hyperactivation of Necdin, a new biomarker for Cockayne syndrome neurological disease

To investigate the cooperative roles of CSB and NDN interaction in the regulation of neural function in vivo, we generated AAV constructs for the expression of shRNA-CSB or shRNA-NDN. We then delivered these viruses into the bilateral V1 region of mice cortex in which each target gene has been knocked down. Overall design: We performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of mouse cortex V1 region, two female mice per genotype were used.
