List of selected samples of Crocallis and related genera Scodiomima and Dzhugesia with DNA barcodes involved in Bayesian analysis Zootaxa

A series of geometrid moths from the little-known genus Dzhugesia Wehrli, 1936 were collected in southern Iran (Kerman Province). Both morphological characters and DNA barcoding confirm that the examined specimens represent a new species, herein described as D. alierfani Makhov et Kamyab sp. nov. Additional remarks on the diagnosis of the genus Dzhugesia are also provided. The relationships of Dzhugesia and closely related genera Crocallis Treitschke and Scodiomima Staudinger, 1892 are discussed. The erroneous species association of the sample whose DNA barcode was published in the BOLD Systems database is corrected. This is the first record of the genus Dzhugesia from Iran.
