Resolvin D5 on prostaglandin E2 mediated inhibition of fMLF induced activation of the neutrophil NADPH

The data show the effects on the inhibitory activity of PGE2 in the presence/absense of the allosterically modelator RvD5, when neutrophils were activated by the FPR1 agonist fMLF. Neutrophils were isolated from peripheral blood of healthy adults obtained from the blood bank at Sahlgrenska University Hospital and the release of ROS by activted neutrophils was measured using a very senstitive isoluminol-amplified chemiluminescence system.

本数据集展示了在变构调节剂（allosteric modulator）RvD5存在或缺失的条件下，经FPR1（formyl peptide receptor 1）激动剂fMLF（N-formylmethionyl-leucyl-phenylalanine）激活的中性粒细胞中，前列腺素E2（PGE2，prostaglandin E2）抑制活性的变化情况。实验所用中性粒细胞取自萨尔格伦斯卡大学医院血库的健康成人外周血，并采用高灵敏度异鲁米诺增强化学发光系统，检测活化中性粒细胞的活性氧（ROS, Reactive Oxygen Species）释放量。
