Number of mortgage-financed purchases of dwellings 2023, by macro region

The number of mortgage-financed purchases of dwellings in the residential real estate market in North-West Italy was over 96,000 in 2023. In comparison, Central Italy only had about 58,000 mortgage loans for house purchases stipulated. The islands had 20,000 mortgage-financed purchases of dwellings which was the lowest number by macro-region in 2023.
