RNA sequencing of silica gel-immobilized and cisplatin-treated ovarian cancer cells

This study aimed to look at the signaling response of ovarian cancer cells to physical confinement in silica gels for 24 and 72 hr relative to standard culture control cells; the study also investigated transcriptomes of ovarian cancer cells surviving physical confinement and later extracted from silica gels and compared signaling to that of ovarian cancer cells surviving cisplatin drug treatment Overall design: 5 different conditions (Control, Day 1, Day 3, Extracted, and Treated) and 2 biological replicates per condition
