neXtProt functional proteome project

While knowledge on human proteins has grown by leaps and bounds in recent years with high-throughput experiments and simulations, there are still many proteins lacking any experimentally determined or predicted function. In order to support the community effort initiated by the HUPO C-HPP consortium to complete the human functional proteome, neXtProt has begun to host and contribute protein function predictions.近年来，随着高通量实验与模拟技术的发展，人类蛋白质相关研究知识已突飞猛进，但仍有大量蛋白质尚未获得经实验验证或预测得到的功能注释。为支持由人类蛋白质组组织（HUPO）染色体中心型人类蛋白质组计划（C-HPP）联盟发起的、旨在完成人类功能蛋白质组的社区协作项目，neXtProt已开始托管并贡献蛋白质功能预测数据。
