Quantification of total RNA and protein.

The concentration of total RNA was determined with the BioAnalyzer 2100 (Agilent Technologies) employing an Agilent RNA 6000 Nano Chip using the device setting “EukaryoteTotal RNA Nano assay”. Protein concentration was determined by the BCA-method (Pierce) according to the manufacturers' instructions and re-analysed densitometrically on an SDS-PAGE by comparison to different amounts of a BSA-standard; nd = not determined; * = estimated by silver staining; bs, bisexual; us, unisexual; mT, male tegument.总RNA浓度采用安捷伦科技（Agilent Technologies）的生物分析仪2100（BioAnalyzer 2100）进行测定，搭配安捷伦RNA 6000纳米芯片（Agilent RNA 6000 Nano Chip），仪器运行设置为‘真核总RNA Nano检测’（EukaryoteTotal RNA Nano assay）。蛋白浓度则采用Pierce品牌的BCA法（BCA-method）测定，严格遵循制造商的操作说明；同时通过十二烷基硫酸钠-聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳（SDS-PAGE）进行光密度分析，以不同剂量的牛血清白蛋白（BSA）标准品作为参照完成复测。相关注释如下：nd = 未测定；* = 经银染估算；bs 代表雌雄同体（bisexual）；us 代表雌雄异体（unisexual）；mT 代表雄虫体被（male tegument）。
