We modified the actin gene in budding yeast and analyzed the cellular phenotypes of this modification. One important control is to verify the expression of actin binding proteins in these strains. The mRNA sequencing of 8 Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains that express different actins were generated by deep sequencing, in triplicate, using Hiseq 4000 sequencing 1x50 bases. 5 haploid strains : Sc[Ca], Sc[Sp], Sc[At], N2 and Ca. 1 wild type haploid strain : ScNI. 1 diploid strain N2/Ca and 1 diploid wild type strain Sc/Sc.
