Organic Geochemical Studies on Peat Deposits from Macquarie Island

Data are extracted from the paper by S. A. Pickering and B.D. Batts, 'Patterns of Mono- and Difunctional Carboxylic Acids in Hydrothermal Leachates of Soil and Peat Humates: Geological and Environmental Implications', Org. Geochem. J., 18, 683-693, (1992). Samples were collected by J. Selkirk and Z. Fathoni from the Green Gorge at 54o37'S 158o37'10"E. The samples were freeze dried and hydrous pyrolysed at a range of temperatures (95, 120, 200 and 300 oC). Fathoni）采集自格林峡谷（Green Gorge），采样坐标为南纬54°37′、东经158°37′10″。样本经冷冻干燥后，在95、120、200与300摄氏度的梯度温度下开展含水热解实验。本数据集的样本主要采用尺寸排阻色谱法（Size Exclusion Chromatography）进行分析。本数据集包含如下字段：一元羧酸、二元羧酸、饱和组分、不饱和组分、温度。
