Alcoota/Alice Springs, NT, 1997 (P1003), elevation line data

The Digital Elevation Model represents ground surface topography between points of known elevation. The elevation data was calculated using the altimeters and Global Positioning System (GPS) sensor used for the benefit of airborne magnetic and radiometric data on the same survey. The elevation is the height relative to the Australian Height Datum GDA94 (AUSGEOID09). The processed elevation data is checked for quality by GA geophysicists to ensure that the final data released by GA are fit-for-purpose. These line dataset from the Alcoota/Alice Springs, NT, 1997 survey were acquired in 1997 by the NT Government, and consisted of 132674 line-kilometres of data at 400m line spacing and 60m terrain clearance.

数字高程模型（Digital Elevation Model）用于表征已知高程点之间的地表地形。本次高程数据通过服务于同次航空磁测与放射性测量作业的高度计及全球定位系统（Global Positioning System, GPS）传感器解算得到。该高程为相对于澳大利亚高程基准GDA94（AUSGEOID09）的高度值。经处理的高程数据已由澳大利亚地质调查局（Geoscience Australia, GA）的地球物理学家开展质量核查，以确保该局发布的最终数据符合预定使用要求。本次源自北领地（Northern Territory, NT）阿尔库塔/爱丽丝泉1997年科考的测线数据集由北领地政府于1997年采集完成，数据总长度达132674线公里，测线间距为400米，地形飞行净空高度为60米。
