Albert Head Precise Point Positioning - Float Deployed 2017-03-09

The Precise Point Positioning Float AR 01 was deployed on 2017-03-09 at Albert Head. Albert Head is a community located in Metchosin, on the south coast of Vancouver Island. This device is a Precise Point Positioning - Float. These precise point positioning processors are modules as part of an aggregate systems for the Earthquake Early Warning (EEW) installations. Within these processors, specially designed filters are applied to Global Navigation Satellite System and accelerometer input data.
