Sex bias in genes displaying ASE.

The number of genes categorized as strongly female-biased (FS; LFC ≤ -1.5), moderately female-biased (FB; -0.5 ≤ LFC ≤ -1.5), unbiased (UB; -0.5 > LFC > 0.5), moderately male-biased (MB; 0.5 ≥ LFC ≥ 1.5), strongly male-biased (MS; LFC ≥ 1.5), and generally sex-biased (SB; LFC ≥ 0.5 or LFC ≤ -0.5) are shown. Significant deviations from the expected number of sex-biased genes (SB EXP) were assessed with a χ2 test. P- and Benjamini-Hochberg-corrected P-values are shown. (XLSX)
