This dataset contains the output from oil drift simulations as detailed in the associated publication, Röhrs et al. (2018). In the paper, various physical algorithms were tested in an oil drift model (OpenOil) and compared to observations from a field campaign with controlled oil releases in the North Sea in June 2015. The dataset includes four files that contain the output from simulations with two different algorithms [Li et al. (2017) and Johansen et al. (2015)] for the oil droplet size distributions and two different water fractions. This dataset supports the publication: Röhrs, J., Dagestad, K.-F., Asbjørnsen, H., Nordam, T., Skancke, J., Jones, C.
