State intervention in the development of black small scale farmers through the Agriparks

This is dataset for a qualitative study of three provincial case studies of Agriparks based on ethnography and grounded methods to understand state support for small-scale farmers, beneficiaries, non-beneficiaries, activists, and academics involved with small-scale farmers and rural development were interviewed for the study. Findings confirm that state interventions are critical for the development of small-scale farmers and rural development, also that the private sector has an important role to play in integrating the dual agriculture structures created by the apartheid system. Structural and interpretive approaches were used to understand and analyze the data. Pseudonyms were used to de-identify the participants.本数据集用于一项针对三个省级农业产业园（Agriparks）的质性研究。该研究以民族志（ethnography）与扎根理论法（grounded methods）为研究方法，旨在探究政府对小规模农户的扶持政策；研究访谈了关联小规模农户与乡村发展工作的受益者、非受益者、活动家及学者。研究结果证实，政府干预对小规模农户发展与乡村振兴至关重要，同时私营部门在整合种族隔离制度（apartheid）所构建的二元农业结构方面发挥着重要作用。本次研究采用结构主义与阐释主义方法对数据进行解读与分析，并通过使用化名对所有受访者完成匿名化处理。
