Volcanic gas plume data from Láscar Volcano (Chile)

The MultiGAS was deployed on the crater’s rim on 4-7 December 2012 in order to measure the bulk plume composition of an air-diluted plume. A sustained steam plume was produced by the persistent fumarole field located ~200 m below the rim of its active central crater. SO2 gas fluxes have been obtained by deploying portable scanning DOAS (Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy) instruments (December 2012 and 2013).

MultiGAS仪器于2012年12月4日至7日部署在火山口边缘，以测量经空气稀释的喷发柱的整体组分。位于其活动中央火山口边缘下方约200米处的持久喷气孔场，产生了持续稳定的蒸汽喷发柱。通过部署便携式扫描DOAS（差分光学吸收光谱法，Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy）仪器，已获取2012年12月及2013年的二氧化硫（SO₂）气体通量数据。
