This dataset is intended for shogi AI development and is provided in the YaneuraOu PackedSfenValue format. It was generated using Suisho5 with a search depth of 9. Its starting positions were curated from Floodgate matches held between 2015 and 2024, with particular emphasis on games involving Osho title contention. The dataset has not been shuffled, and shuffling prior to usage is recommended. Furthermore, the positions in the dataset have not been replaced with the quiescence search PV (principal variation) leaf nodes of their original positions; users may apply such modifications as needed.
