Number of deaths in bicycle accidents in South Korea 2009-2022

According to a report on the state of bicycle roads in South Korea, there were 190 deaths in bicycle accidents in 2022. The number of deaths decreased by a third compared to figures from a decade ago. Deaths from bicycle accidents accounted for around 6.9 percent of all traffic-related deaths in the country that year.
