Draft genome of multidrug-resistant Enterococcus faecalis isolates from ornamental birds and their environments in household and shop settings in Mymensingh, Bangladesh

This project includes whole genome sequences of multidrug resistant Enterococcus faecalis isolates obtained from ornamental birds and their surrounding environments in Mymensingh, Bangladesh. Samples were collected from both household and shop settings, including feces, cage surfaces, feed, drinking water, air, and handlers hand and nasal swabs. The study aims to investigate the occurrence, genetic diversity, and antimicrobial resistance determinants of Enterococcus faecalis associated with ornamental birds and their environments. Each genome represents a distinct monoisolate cultured and sequenced individually.
