Sequencing of proximal tubular carnitine-acetyl transferase Heterozygous knockout kidney cortex from mouse

We report the comparison of normal vs proximal tubular cell specific CrAT heterozygous knockout kidney cortex by sequencing analysis CrAT was deleted in proximal tubular cells of mice using Cre/Lox technology (Ggt -CRE). First generation of Heterozygous mice were used. Mice were aged out to 12-15 months. RNA was isolated by the TRIzol method, libraries and sequencing were done using a Lexogen/Illumina platform.
