资源简介:
This data are part of the activities for the accurate description of the limnetic systems in Byers Peninsula (Livingston Island), considered one of the most important freshwater zones in the Maritime Antarctica. During the 2005-06 campaign we collected the half-hourly data recorded by the meteorological station. The variables registered are air and surface temperature, water and conductivity in the Somero Lake, wind speed and direction, radiation and snow level. In the Petreles stream the hourly air temperatures is collected. In the Belgica stream the hourly water temperature is collected in to points. We measured the soil resistant to compression against different use level in the camp area and in non previously used areas. We took pictures of permanent quadrants located in ecosystem transition areas.
