A price survey conducted at supermarkets in Itami City revealed that the average price of 1 kg of lemons in December 2016 was 643 yen. Compared to the national average of 795 yen, the lemons in Itami City were sold at a price 152 yen lower than the national average. During the period from January 2015 to December 2016 (the past 24 months), the highest price for lemons at supermarkets within Itami City was in July 2016 at 740 yen, while the lowest price was in January 2015 at 583 yen. The price difference between the peak and the lowest price periods for lemons in the Itami City area (July 2016 and January 2015, respectively) was 152 yen.
