The Ocean Instruments SoundTrap (ST) 300 STD is a compact self-contained underwater hydrophone that was powered by an external battery pack. The ST300 hydrophone was mounted near the top of the benthic landers, and a battery pack mounted in close proximity to the hydrophone. The standard factory calibration was based on piston phone calibration performed for both low and high gain settings at 250 Hz. The calibration results were made available online by the manufacturer (http://www.oceaninstruments.co.nz/), and obtained by searching for the serial number (Table 1). These end-to-end calibration results represent the Sound Pressure Level (SPL) (dB re 1 μPa) that will result in a normalized (±1.0) ‘wav’ file with a full-scale signal (i.e. 2.0 units peak to peak).\nLineage: Recorded data files were stored as proprietary format ‘sud’ files. These ‘sud’ files can be decompressed to create waveform audio (wav) files containing ambient noise measurements, extensible markup language (xml) files containing sensor metadata, and comma-separated values (csv) files containing ancillary sensor data for later analyses.

该SoundTrap水听器已由制造商完成工厂校准。标准工厂校准基于活塞传声器校准(piston phone calibration)在250Hz下针对低、高增益档位开展的校准工作。制造商已将校准结果发布至官方网站(http://www.oceaninstruments.co.nz/),用户可通过搜索设备序列号获取对应结果(见表1)。此类端到端校准结果对应的声压级(Sound Pressure Level, SPL)单位为dB re 1 μPa,可生成归一化至±1.0的全量程信号(即峰峰值为2.0个单位)的“wav”波形文件。
数据谱系(Lineage):原始录制数据以专有格式“sud”文件存储。此类“sud”文件可被解压缩,生成包含环境噪声测量数据的波形音频(wav)文件、包含传感器元数据的可扩展标记语言(extensible markup language, XML)文件,以及包含辅助传感器数据的逗号分隔值(comma-separated values, CSV)文件,以供后续分析使用。
