Is quality of life associated with compliance to pharmacoterapy in patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing maintenance hemodialysis?

ABSTRACT Objective To analyzed the association of quality of life and compliance to drug treatment in chronic kidney disease patients. Methods The Short Form Health Survey was used to evaluate the quality of life of these patients, and the therapeutic complexity index was verified. The Morisky-Green test and the Brief Medication Questionnaire were applied to check compliance to drug therapy. Results A total of 197 patients were included. The Morisky-Green test and Brief Medication Questionnaire showed that most patients had low compliance to treatment (50.3% and 80.6%, respectively). Compliance was highly associated with gender (male) and slightly associated with complexity of therapy, mental health, and social aspects. Conclusion We observed a slight association between compliance to pharmacotherapy and quality of life and complexity of therapy, and a strong association with gender.摘要 研究目的：探讨慢性肾脏病（chronic kidney disease, CKD）患者的生活质量与药物治疗依从性的相关性。 研究方法：采用简明健康调查量表（Short Form Health Survey）评估受试患者的生活质量，并验证治疗复杂性指数；同时应用莫雷斯基-格林测试（Morisky-Green test）与简要用药问卷（Brief Medication Questionnaire）评定患者的药物治疗依从性。 研究结果：本研究共纳入197例患者。莫雷斯基-格林测试与简要用药问卷结果显示，多数患者治疗依从性较低（占比分别为50.3%与80.6%）。治疗依从性与性别（男性）呈显著相关，与治疗复杂性、心理健康及社会维度呈轻度相关。 研究结论：本研究观察到，药物治疗依从性与生活质量及治疗复杂性仅存在轻度关联，而与性别存在强相关性。
