Data for "Snow information is required in subcontinental scale predictions of mountain plant distributions"

These data and code are associated with the publication Rissanen et al. (2021) <strong>"Snow information is required in subcontinental scale predictions of mountain plant distributions" </strong>published in Global Ecology and Biogeography (doi 10.1111/geb.13315). The species data consist of 475 811 presence observations of 671 vascular plant species from the arctic-alpine area of Fennoscandia collected from national databases of Finland, Sweden and Norway, GBIF and field surveys by the authors´ research groups. The environmental data contain seven spatially continuous predictor variables in a raster stack used to model species distributions. Provided R code was used to perform species distribution modelling. The data and analyses are described in the linked publication. The data should be sited properly.
