资源简介:
Fusarium mangiferae which belongs to the Fusarium (Gibberella) fujikuroi species complex (FFSC), is situated within the Asian clade, and was first described by Britz et al (Mycologia 94, 722-730, 2002). F. mangiferae causes floral and vegetative malformation disease of mango in Israel and elsewhere worldwide and was previously described as F. subglutinans. Morphologically, it is most similar to F. concentricum and F. guttiforme; No sexual stage has been found so far, although isolates of different mating types have been identified from field populations. Chlamydospores are absent. To date, there have been no reports on mycotoxin production by this species. F. mangiferae is specific to mango and causes serious yield loss since malformed panicles do not produce fruit. Strain MRC7560 was isolated from infected mango panicles, cv. Kent, from Kibbutz Ginossar in Northern Israel.
