资源简介:
The purpose of this study is: To identify all Hargeisa pharmacies and to GPS each site for mapping activities. To assess the availability of both of PSI/Somaliland's socially marketed products, BiyoSifeeye and Kala-Koriye. More specifically, the study will measure the penetration of contraceptives and water treatment products, price levels, as well as a number of quality standards of coverage for both PSI products. This study is based on a survey of all pharmacies in Hargeisa which were visited by eight trained interviewers. They collected GPS data at each pharmacy and audited the penetration and quality of display of BiyoSifeeye and Kala-Koriye products. In addition to that, they checked on the availability of ORS, zinc, and injectable contraceptives, which PSI/Somaliland is planning to launch during 2011. A census in Hargeisa revealed 376 pharmacies, of which 40 were either permanently or temporarily closed and 11 pharmacies refused to participate. Therefore, these results are based on data from 325 pharmacies.
