Location and time of DCI events identified on Hainan Island and Leizhou Peninsula during MJJAS of 2016–2022

This dataset provides the location and time of the 10731 deep convection initiation (DCI) events occurring over Hainan Island and Leizhou Peninsula in Southern China during the summer season (May to September) of 2016 to 2022. The dataset was collected by an automatic DCI identification method using the high-resolution (2 km, 10 minutes) visible and infrared data of satellite Himawari-8. Note that the time in the dataset are represented in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). For instance, the value "720" corresponds to the time "07:20 AM UTC".本数据集涵盖2016至2022年夏季（5月至9月）中国南部海南岛与雷州半岛上空发生的10731次深对流触发（Deep Convection Initiation, DCI）事件的位置与时间信息。该数据集采用自动深对流触发识别方法，基于向日葵8号（Himawari-8）卫星的高分辨率（2 km、10分钟级）可见光与红外数据采集得到。请注意，数据集中的时间采用协调世界时（Coordinated Universal Time, UTC）标注，例如数值"720"对应协调世界时上午07:20。
