THE SYMBOLIC MEANING OF THE IMAGES OF KUMUSH AND ZAINAB IN THE NOVEL "DAYS GONE BY" BY ABDULLA KADYRI

The article provides brief information about the literary work of Abdulla Kadiri and compares the main female characters: Kumush and Zainab, the wives of the protagonist Atabek. Their behavior in key episodes of the novel, the motivation behind their actions, and their attitudes toward their husband are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the inner world of the heroines, the contrast between their characters, and the influence of social conditions on their destinies. The purpose of this research is to determine the author's view of the place and role of women in the society of his time, as well as to examine how the author reveals the social and moral problems of his era through the characters and destinies of the heroines. The research methods include descriptive and comparative analysis, as well as the study of individual episodes of the novel.本文简要介绍了阿卜杜拉·卡迪里（Abdulla Kadiri）的文学创作，并对主人公阿塔别克（Atabek）的两位妻子——库穆什（Kumush）与扎伊纳布（Zainab）这两位核心女性角色展开对比分析。本文将分析二人在小说关键情节中的言行举止、行为动机，以及她们对丈夫的态度。研究尤为关注女性主人公的内心世界、二者性格间的鲜明反差，以及社会环境对其命运的影响。 本研究旨在探明作者对其所处时代女性的地位与作用的看法，同时探析作者如何通过女性主人公的形象与命运，揭示其所处时代的社会与道德问题。本研究采用的方法包括描述性与比较性分析，以及对小说具体情节的研读。
