Extracted microbiomes from agricultural soils.

Nitrous oxide emissions from soil are shaped by both soil chemical properties and microbial community composition, but the relative impact of each factor is not fully understood. In this study, we extracted microbiomes from two distinct soil types, black soil and fluvo-aquic soil and inoculated into soil water extracts to investigate how water-extractable chemicals and microbiomes independently affect Nitrous oxide emissions. Providing insights into the interactions between soil chemistry and microbial communities in driving Nitrous oxide emissions.
