Person carrying out the majority of DIY tasks in homes in the UK 2019

This statistic displays the results of survey in which respondents in the United Kingdom (UK) were asked who does the DIY tasks in their homes in 2019. The largest proportion of respondents (52 percent) choose to carry out DIY tasks in their home by themselves. In comparison, only 15 percent of those surveyed hire a contractor to do most of their household DIY tasks.
