资源简介:
The National Statistical Office (NSO), under the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MOSPI), periodically conducts surveys related to household social consumption in the context of health. These surveys serve as a vital source of information concerning health issues and associated expenditures, categorized by major socio-economic groups. The primary aim of these surveys is to generate fundamental quantitative data regarding morbidity, the profile of ailments, their treatment, the roles played by both government and private healthcare facilities, medical expenses, the well-being of the elderly, and more. To date, four comprehensive surveys have been conducted, with the most recent one carried out from July 2017 to June 2018. During this survey, data was collected from 113,823 selected sample households across the country, following a scientifically designed sampling methodology. While these surveys provide crucial insights into household consumption expenditure on healthcare, there remains a scarcity of data regarding the cost of care for various types of ailments and the associated medical services.
