Murdoch University Algal Culture Collection

The Murdoch University Algal Culture Collection (MUACC) carries out research on microalgae (phytoplankton) with a particular emphasis on microalgae with potential commercial applications. The laboratory has an extensive collection of microalgae cultures and provides an identification services for microalgae - including toxic blooms, seaweeds and seagrasses. The culture collection also provides a hosting service for algal strains for industry.
