Replication Data for: Establishing laboratory reference ranges for haematological and biochemical blood parameters in adults and children in Kilifi, Kenya

This is a replication dataset for the manuscript titled: "Establishing laboratory reference ranges for haematological and biochemical blood parameters in adults and children in Kilifi, Kenya" submitted to Wellcome Open Research. The data here were used to derive reference ranges for a number of haematological and biochemical blood parameters for both adults and children in Kilifi Kenya. Data were derived from several clinical trial in Kilifi where randomly selected, otherwise healthy clinical trial participants had baseline blood tests taken prior to trial participation. Data were deidentified prior to analysis. Parameters were analysed using routine laboratory equipment. Data was analysed using the Reference Intervals package in R. Outlying observations were removed defined as being more than >1.5 times the IQR above the third or below the first quartile.A non-parametric approach was used to estimate 95% reference ranges.
