Ichnofossils of the Ipu formation, Parnaíba basin: image of molds, SEM/EDS analysis and bioturbation index maps.

This dataset contains images of 19 molds of ichnofossils, which were produced in the field directly from the ichnofossils and then cast in acrylic resin. There are also the results of the scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy (SEM/EDS) analyses of 3 thin sections (CP6-252, CP6-254, CP6-258), obtained with the LEO 430i electron microscope (Zeiss) coupled energy dispersive spectrometer (Oxford Instruments). Finally, the results of the estimate of the bioturbation index in two outcrops were represented on maps that were georeferenced in ArcGis Pro (V. 3.0.3).
